Over the years none of the band members changed which has made Big Livers very unique and professional. Playing together for 20 years makes people wonder how the musicians create such beautiful and rich sound by only using three instruments and vocals.

Avtozvuk magazine about the band:

“Big livers first appeared in St. Petersburg in 1996. They have a traditional style and a ‘50s sound. The “Ice Fishing Boogie” written by the frontman Vitaly Novikov and Sergey Isakov tells a fun story about ice fishing and “Come home little mama” reminds us of Buddy Holly.”

Members:

  • Vitaly Novikov: solo guitar
  • Alexey Shalaev: double bass
  • Alexey Volkov: drums
